I want you to know, you do not have to go through this alone. There are times when we all hit a bump in the road, or feel like there is no relief in sight. Sometimes we all need someone we can
trust and connect with when we are feeling hopeless, powerless, or overwhelmed. In my journey of life, I have experienced these thoughts and feelings myself.
On top of all of that, it is not always easy to find a therapist you resonate with. We are all beautifully different and no one therapist is the right one for every person looking for help.
In my experience, talk therapy alone does not work for trauma. People often wonder why things aren't getting better after going to therapy for years.
Therapy for Children
Therapy for children is different than it is for adults. In my experience, while most children are able to talk and understand what is being said, talk therapy does not work.
Some people just need to have a safe space to talk and feel heard. In my experience most benefit from including other modalities as well.
